O Ad-Aware 2007 oferece uma nova interface que é ao mesmo tempo é de fácil utilização e permite o acesso a funcionalidades avançadas do software. Concretamente, esta nova versão faz uso principalmente das animações e dos efeitos de transparência seguindo a linha do Windows Vista.
A protecção também foi incrementada, principalmente na detecção das novas ameaças e dos Softwares maliciosos profundamente "incrustados" no sistema. O motor de análises em tempo real, Ad-Watch, foi enriquecido com uma protecção contra o roubo de informações pessoais. Entre as outras melhorias acrescentadas, também é possível citar o suporte ao Firefox e ao Opera, a melhoria da performance da análise, mais rápida e consumindo menos recursos, a possibilidade de se fazer actualizações incrementais ou ainda a planificação das análises.
